Let's forget the negatives
Prologue

Shedding tears of joy,
Crying tears of pain.
Learning to love,
Skinning your knees.
Sadness is not eternal,
Happiness is not destination

People Envy Your Compassion
You have a kind heart and an unusual empathy for all living creatures. You tend to absorb others' happiness and pain.People envy your compassion, and more importantly, the connections it helps you build. And compassionate as you are, you feel for them.
What Do People Envy About You?

You Communicate With Your Body
This isn't as bad as it sounds, it just means that you're a "touchy-feely" person. You need a lot of affection in your life. And for you, this means both giving and receiving little touches.Warm hearted, you bond with people easily. In fact, you often feel a little sad when you're not in the company of others.A little moody, you tend to be controlled by your emotions. But a bit hug always comforts you!
How Do You Communicate?

You Are 50% Vain
You're a little vain, but more than anything you have a healthy amount of confidence.Thinking the world of yourself is great. Just don't think less of those who aren't as pretty as you!
How Vain Are You?

I saw a shooting star today, and realised that 2 weeks back, the green flash that disappeared as quickly as it appeared i saw was the infamous shooting star. Haha.. Blur right? And i saw it again today at Kent Ridge Park. This time it happened right smack in front of my eyes. I should say that it looks like a flare to me ba.. Too bad my reaction was too slow to make a wish.

There's this quality management system e-learning that everybody have to do by 15th feb, and alot of people are asking me to help them complete it. So far i've completed mine, 2 officers', 1 section head's and in the midst of another officer's. Funny sia.. Same qns and tutorial to go through for everyone and the rest of the people are asking me for ans and taking queue number so that i could do for them. Reminds me of poly days.. E-learning? Class rep do and disseminate the answers to everyone so that all would pass the assessment. Really pity the people who compiled the whole thing because it was really nicely done up with flash and the animation are wonderful. But who really reads through everything?

I chanced upon a quote that's really interesting. Digest this:

"To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness."

I dreamt the night before.. It was a very irritating dream; because i dreamt that i couldnt sleep and was tossing and turning in bed and eventually on the light to read my novel. It was irritating because it felt too real, so real that i really felt like i didnt the whole night. Can you imagine? Irritating sia..

Just got home! Yea, it's like 3 in the morning already. Starting to pick up pool lately. It's quite fun la though most of the time aimed abit off, but when the ball goes into the hole, the sound when it hits the pocket, wah sey.. achievement sia.

Shaun and I had our supper at MacDonalds' just now. Ordered 20 pc nuggets only to realise that they had run out of curry sauce. Disappointment. I felt cheated.. they should inform that curry sauce is out of stock first ma. And i reckoned that it's just like having hotcakes without maple syrup. Isn't it true?

Flipped through my CD wallet today. It's been awhile and i've lost touch with ballads. These days, thanks to Shaun, i listen to techno and R&B. He likes to blast it in the car. I saw Westlife, SHE (my favs during pri and sec sch days), Lilo & Stitch OST, Ronan Keating and pop song compilations. Playing through some CDs and found songs i've long forgotten. Luther Vandross' Dance With My Father touched my heart. Then there's Leaving on the Jetplane, First Cut is the Deepest and blah.. I'm putting it all into my phone.

I dont remember how i got this one song though.. I have absolutely no idea the title nor the singer but the lyrics is so sweet. Here's part of it:
"you believe, that i've changed your life forever
and you'd never find another somebody like me
and you wish, you had more than just a lifetime
to give back all i've given you
and that;s what you believe

but i owe you
the sunlight in the morning
and the nights of all these loving
that time can't take away
i owe you
more than life now more than ever
i know that it's the sweetest debt
i'd ever have to pay"

It's so close to my heart, as though narrating our story. ; )

Okie so countdown's over, said my last farewell to last year, sent new year messages to lots of people and tah-dah! It's the third day of 2007 already. Fast aye? Haa.. First day of work wasnt as busy as i thought it'd be. So glad tomorrow's thursday!

Anyways i've taken my first step to my new year resolution by looking at different institutes that offer part time degree. Now it's either Murdoch University or Uni of London. Have to go through bridging course, which means take up A Maths before i get direct intake into 2nd year! Oh no.. I smell trouble la. You know how shitty my maths is. Economics isnt so bad though.. (provided i still remember my stuff)

If you were to use one word to describe 2006, what would it be?

Mine's dramatic. Finished school, started work. It's alot of difference really. Have to experience it before get what i mean.
