Let's forget the negatives
Prologue

Shedding tears of joy,
Crying tears of pain.
Learning to love,
Skinning your knees.
Sadness is not eternal,
Happiness is not destination

Have you ever been to a match making session kind of get together? Got the chance to sit in to one on Good Friday since Shaun was involved in the event. It was a dinner at Sembawang SAF Yacht Club. Almost all of them are PMEBs with high salary, just that they lack life outside work. I was supposed to be a participant to be able to sit in so felt abit queasy.. I looked underage amongst them lor. But well, it was ok la. I learnt a new game! It's called '007'. We played it in order to clear the leftover food on the table. Well, i was stuffed to the brim man. Shaun's colleagues are so funny.. I wished i was working in such organisation too. Imagine they call each other bitch? In the end i became a bitch too.

Played bowling few days ago. Fun! Been awhile since i last went to the bowling alley. Think the last time was with Mal & Kit Mun at Chevron's (not sure how to spell). But played 2 games only because there was like 6 of us? One game took an hour plus to end. By the end of 2nd game i was sleepy already.

Been busy with the admin stuff for my degree course. It's starting on 7 May. Oh man.. Book mugging sessions again. Lost touch with studies le. I'm excited yet scared. Hopefully it'd be fine!

Some of my friends are bothered by lots of things lately. Be it love related, studies, work or even interpersonal relations; think on the bright side really. It helps. Listen to your favourite songs, cry your heart out, find solace but dont ever dwell. Once, someone ever told me this: everytime when a door closes in front of our eyes, dont ever stare at it for so long that we miss the new door that has opened for us. Most of the time we blame things for happening not the way we want it to be, but when we think back weeks or even years later, might turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Setbacks are part and parcel of growing up. I've had my fair share too. Step back and look at the big picture, and you'd see better. Take care friends! best wishes..

I bought this book - Ugly by Constance Briscoe. So heart wrenching la.. It's a true story encountered and written by the author herself. Can you imagine being labelled ugly by your mum? Huh.. Bitch.
