Went for another birthday last saturday - Wennyi's 21st b day! After that ah da and I wanted to catch a movie so went to Causeway Point, but there was only Die Hard 4.0 and one more (can't recall what flick already) So sad.. Ended up at a prata shop at Thomson area with Desmond. After that was at Lower Pierce because my very smart boyfriend suddenly wanted to see monkey. -_-!! I dont suppose they come out and play at night right? He was sounding his horn in hope that it'd wake the monkeys up and make them drop down the tree top. I was very tickled actually. Kept laughing and giggling and so was Desmond. Haiyo.. Obviously there was no monkeys la.. Like what Desmond said, "If monkeys come out at night why you dont see them at Night Safari?"
Then yesterday we went prawning! So fun! Hehe.. We were discussing where to go and had already made up our minds to go kayaking until we saw the vast sky - grey colour one. So we ended up prawning at Pasir Ris! First time i come across using fish cake as bait. The other time we went, we were given pig's heart. 1st hour was boring la.. No prawn wanted to eat my fish cake. Ended up making friends with a lil boy sitting beside me while Shaun was talking to the owner. Then after that the owner gave us worms! Eeky sia.. Kept squirming and wriggling but we caught a prawn soon after. BUT, we had a very big problem: both of us dont dare to unhook the prawny from the hook! We were staring at the prawn wondering how to unhook it while it was going bersek. Luckily the owner was there to help us. Haa..
It's fun to do these kinda thing once in awhile. Hehe.. Great sunday.

Went for Hui Jia's 21st bday party last last saturday. Met up with the gang before heading to IMM to but presents for her. We walked round and round and fially settled on buying a necklace from Soo Kee for her. Luckily Jackson had a very comprehensive sms on how to get to her place from JE mrt station or i think we would have to take a cabbie there. Haha.. It was a small gathering at the function hall and most of the guests were Hui Jia's relative. It's been a year plus since we left poly and everyone have moved on well since then. The men are with SAF while most of the ladies are studying full time except for Cat, Bin Jie and I. The funny thing is, no one seemed to have changed. I miss poly man.. It was the most enjoyable period of my life and i learnt the most there in terms of interpersonal skills and being independant. I wish we have the time for a class gathering since each birthday party it's never full strength. Sadly, everyone's shedule is so different la. How to meet?
You know, i have come to realised that time is luxury these days. It seemed to pass before i even notice. Honestly i dont know how i am doing at my new department. I feel so lost without evaluation and feedback. I hope it's more good words than complaints!
What's your goal in life? My short term goal right now is to be able to juggle studies and work well. That's all i ask for. But everytime i reach home i feel totally zonked. Cannot concentrate on revising my work at all! Huh.. My flesh is willing but my spirit is so damn weak. Ahhhh!!! Irritated.
